Iranian national was attacked and stabbed in Kyiv

On March 26, 2008 around 22.00 h. in Svyatoshino district of Kyiv, an Iranian national was attacked and stabbed on the back by anunidentified person. The Iranian was on his way home after visiting his relatives. Some local papers have already reported on thisshortly. According to sources in the Ministry of the Interior, the victim has been hospitalized and is under treatment. The same sources said that there is no threat to the life of the victim, as although there is a wound on the back, major organs of the body are not damaged.
